Our Integrity Policy
This integrity policy is effective from 25 May 2018 and was last updated on 12 May 2019.
Peas Industries AB and all of our subsidiaries work to ensure that your privacy and integrity are protected when you use our services. Our goal is to help you feel confident that your personal privacy is respected and that your personal information is processed correctly. We take responsibility to ensure that personal data that is processed by Peas Industries is used only for the intended purpose, and is protected against unauthorised access.
All processing of personal data by Peas Industries and our subsidiaries is carried out in accordance with applicable personal data legislation. After 25 May 2018, the Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies in the EU/EEA.
Who is responsible for your personal information?

The personal data manager for processing your data is the Peas company that is named as being responsible for the service that you have shown interest in/have contracted for, or within which the data is processed. In the event that a company within the Group has developed specific policies, these will prevail over this general integrity policy.

About cookies on our websites
A cookie is a small text file that is sent from our website and is stored on your computer. Most companies use cookies on their websites in order to improve their usability and cookies cannot damage your files or increase the risk of viruses on your computer.
We use cookies to be able to see the selections you have previously made on our websites, and to give us the opportunity to improve them. Cookies are also used to measure traffic on our websites and for statistical purposes.
The information that is collected is anonymous and contains no personal information, such as your name or e-mail address. Information about visitors cannot be traced by Peas Industries.
There are two types of cookies. One type is called session cookies. A session cookie works in the way that it is temporarily stored in your computer memory when you are surfing the websites, and then disappears when you close your browser.
When you surf around on our sites, session cookies are, for example, used in forms. This means that your information is temporarily stored if you have entered it on a page, and then have to return to that page. In that way, you don’t have to re-enter any information.
The other type of cookie is called a permanent cookie and saves a file on your computer over time. We use this to keep track of some of the settings you have made on our website, e.g. your most recent log-in or most recently selected language. This is only in order that you do not have to re-enter such things the next time you visit the website. Permanent cookies are saved as files on your computer or mobile device as long as you do not delete them, or for a maximum of twelve (12) months.
Third party cookies
We use cookies from third parties to collect statistics in aggregated form in such analysis tools as Google Analytics and Google Adwords. The cookies used here are both temporary cookies (session cookies) and permanent cookies. These permanent cookies are saved as files on your computer or mobile device as long as you do not delete them, or for a maximum of twelve (12) months.
Deleting cookies
It is easy to use a browser to delete cookies from your computer or mobile device. For instructions on how to handle and erase cookies, please go to the “Help” option in your web browser. You can choose to disable cookies or to receive a notification each time a new cookie is sent to your computer or mobile device.
Our cookies are, therefore, intended to assist you as a visitor and to assist us. Please note that if you choose to disable cookies, you will not be able to take full advantage of all the features on our websites. If you continue to use our websites without changing your settings, we assume that you do not have any issue with accepting our cookies.
Purposes of processing personal data
Peas Industries and our subsidiaries process your personal information for the following purposes:
- So that we can provide and deliver products and services as agreed with you.
- In order for us to be able to communicate and maintain a relationship with you before, during and after the agreements or partnerships.
- For marketing purposes, such as informing you about our services and general development in renewable energy.
The legal basis for the processing of personal data
Peas Industries AB and our subsidiaries handle the information that is required to complete the tasks to which we are committed under the agreement. After completion of the agreement we will save the necessary data on the basis of legal obligations, such as the Accounting Act and limitation periods. Should the agreements call for processing of data that is worthy of extra protection, such as account numbers or national identity numbers, these will be removed no later than 30 days after the legal basis expires.
Based on legitimate interest, we save contact information after completed agreements for the purposes of entering into new and similar collaborations. We save the contact information of prospective customers after mutual interest has been expressed. Data removal takes place on an annual basis, in order to keep our contact information relevant.
In certain situations, such as when processing CVs, we will require your permission to process your data. In these cases, you agree solely to this particular processing.
Who has access to your personal information?
Your information may be processed by our personal data assistants, who carry out tasks on behalf of the Peas companies. These personal data assistants will then only process the information in accordance with the purposes for which your personal information has been gathered, and in accordance with Peas’ instructions.
Disclosure is made according to legal obligations and practice to, e.g. the authorities, auditors and legal representatives.
We will not sell, share or in any other way disseminate your personal information to third parties, except in accordance with this policy.
Your rights and contact information
Please feel free to contact us at any time if you want to know more about our work around your privacy, or if you wish to amend, remove or receive information about your data. In certain cases, we must, however, retain them for legal reasons. You are also entitled to complain to the relevant regulatory authority if you believe that your personal data is being processed in breach of the applicable personal data legislation.
